This was a pretty big Toy/UX and super fun project for me. I was comissioned to come up with "Play Logic" for six Bears with unique personalities. The Logic, consists of Player to Bear interactions with capacitive touch sensors and Bear to Bear interactions via RF that would both fit the new, updated Intellectual Property (which held to the very sweet source material) and keep players engaged.
Each of the Bears has touch sensors in the hands and a microphone in the nose for inputs, RF connectivity between Bears and color LEDs, voice and music for outputs. The bears say and respond to catch phrases, sing songs and through repeat interactions even tell jokes...yes, I got to define the 'logic' for telling a joke.
