My first entry into the toy business was in Chicago for a Marvin Glass spinoff company called I.D.E.A.  I learned SO much just from the practical use of tools and model making techniques from vacuum forming, molding, milling, lathe, electronics, sketching, pitching, chemistry and teamwork.  Yes, those Bubbles are edible.
My first, placed inventor item - inspired by the shoulder-mounted weapon from the original Predator movie, I wanted a 'hands free' water blaster that would shoot anywhere my head was facing.  The prototype was a sound-activated 'dancing flower' chip wired to an electronic pump and reservoir.  The whole thing was packaged inside a Nintendo heads up video game controller.  'Captoy' bought the concept and wisely moved the reservoir to a belt mount.
