Design and Model Making. I designed and built the prototype for this tabletop version of the classic skeeball game. As research, I visited several ancient arcades in the area and tried to capture the essence of the experience at this scale.
I built two prototypes, one was a foamcore mockup just to get the scale and the second was made of wood to work out the mechanism and tolerances for the balls and refine the design.
The product needed to come apart to make the package smaller and more shelf-friendly.
