This was one of those weird projects where I sent a single concept out to our HK office and got back two.  The idea here was that at the beads would activate switches at each end of the path to play lights and sound effects.  In the case of the 'dumbbell' design, rolling would create a musical effect rather than just individual sfx from bead manipulation.
